DPPS Reference Group - We Need You!

Are you interested in joining our Reference Group? We need parents who are interested in the quality of SEN support and advice, have some understanding or experience of what PPS does and are able to represent the views of other parents of children with SEN.

The SEN Code of Practice says that Parent Partnerships must deliver a service that is impartial and independent. One of the ways that we can ensure we do this is to have a group of parents and professionals to consult with.

The purpose of the Reference Group is to be an advisory body that will give support and guidance on all aspects of the service’s work. It will oversee the service by evaluating current work against national exemplars, considering and proposing future developments and promoting the service to all sectors. Members will report back to their interest groups and bring suggestions forward without jeopardising the independence of the service.
